Gingerberry...

I’m seriously conflicted. Ginger, Berry, Outgoing, Introverted, I keep saying how much I hate labels, but I’ve decided it’s the only way to help you in this department. Or maybe you don’t need help, which would make you the rare exception… These are oxymorons!! Ginger is sharp, Berry is sweet, Outgoing is sharp, Introverted is sweet... How can these terms fit together? Well, I came up with the name Gingerberry based on my love of Saskatoons (much too long to put in a business name) and my ginger cat (Leo). It also rolls off the tongue! Another word that rolls off the tongue is Ambivert! The definition of an Outgoing Introvert! I nominate Ambivert as the Word of the Year! The definition is: a person whose personality has a balance of extrovert and introvert features. I think everyone is throwing out the term. Covid really opened my eyes to how much I enjoyed being on my own yet looked forward to socializing. I am an Ambivert! I love that there is a word for what I am. Just saying… Ambiverts have a much easier time adjusting their approach to people and situations, allowing them to connect with a wider range of people. Just saying... Pretty Flexible! Are you an Ambivert? -I can do tasks alone or in a group, and it doesn’t really matter to me. -I easily handle social settings, but I get really tired of people sometimes. -I enjoy being the center of attention but not for long. -People describe me as either quiet or highly social. -I enjoy down time, but not too much or I am bored. -I spend a lot of time in my head, but I also have in depth conversations. -I get tired of small talk, but I do it quite easily. -I can easily spend 10 hours a day sew
